Dividend Totals Enhancement

Jwaala’s Better Online Banking product can display any piece of information that is available in a client’s core system. This is an example of an enhancement where a Symitar™ client wanted their users to have access to the dividend information of their share accounts. Dividend information is readily available in Symitar™ which also means it is readily accessible for us to show in Better Online Banking. In general we have access to all records and fields in the Symitar™ core which means they can be displayed to your users. For Symitar™ clients, that includes the multitude of information stored in tracking records.
DATCU Creates a Custom Loan Application

One of the things our customers like the most is the ability to customize the Jwaala Better Online Banking solution. When we say customize, we are not just talking about changing logos or moving text around, we are also talking about creating brand new functionality right inside of online banking. Denton TX based DATCU Credit Union decided they wanted a more seamless loan app, something integrated directly into online banking, so they decided to build just what they wanted.
Customizable Sidebar with Local Weather

Sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference. Working with Michigan First Credit Union, we created a local weather widget that provides weather information to members based on the address on file in the core banking system. Now all members at Michigan First are greeted with local weather every time they sign in, pretty neat. We started showing this to other credit unions during webcasts and various demos, and it turns out everyone thought this was a great idea. This weather widget is now a core part of our solution, and can optionally be turned on for our Better Online Banking customers.
Jwaala’s Better Online Banking, Now Delivering Custom Alerts Through Skype and Twitter
Austin, Texas, January 12, 2010 – Jwaala has added Twitter and Skype alerting capabilities to their Better Online Banking platform. Consumer alerts are becoming an increasingly valuable service for financial institutions and their members. Alerts allow members to quickly receive important information from their financial institution without having to initiate a request. Alerts typically include security notices, transaction information, notices from the credit union or a custom alert created by the member. Today’s online users have come to appreciate alerts that deliver the information they want, when and where they want it.
Adding Twitter & Skype capabilities is just one more way of delivering alerts to a destination consumers desire. Having the flexibility to receive information where they want, is a truly appreciated customer service. Jwaala’s Better Online Banking platform provides multiple methods of communicating with members, and allows the member to choose what fits their lifestyle best.
“While some may not fully appreciate the ability to send alerts to Twitter or Skype, it’s important to keep an open mind with social technologies. Consumers have unique lifestyles and desires,” explains Kelly Dowell, COO of Jwaala. “There is no denying the explosive growth of the Twitter and Facebook communities. If people are in constant contact with Twitter and Facebook, which millions are, or if they have Skype running continuously in the background, they are likely to receive notices much quicker within those applications verses having to login to an online banking or email application. We want our platform to allow members to choose a channel that fits their desires whether that’s Twitter or Facebook, text message, RSS, email or something else. We provide the capability and they can choose what they want to use.”
The Jwaala’s MoneyTracker Better Online Banking platform not only provides multiple options for members to receive alerts, but also the ability to create alerts on just about anything related to their finances; another unique feature within Jwaala’s vision of online banking.
Jwaala’s new alerting channels are sent via private messages within the applications. And is as simple as selecting Direct Twitter Notification within your user profile screen under primary and secondary notification channel.
