Jwaala Adds PFM to Addison Avenue FCU’s Online Banking Channel

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Jwaala announced today that tech-savvy Addison Avenue Federal
Credit Union has selected Jwaala’s award-winning online Personal Financial Management
Suite for deployment by the end of 2009. Headquartered in Palo Alto, California with over
twenty branches in ten states, serving 150,000 members, Addison Avenue is one of the
country’s largest and most progressive credit unions.

With approximately 70,000 online banking users and less than 30% of its membership utilizing
physical branches, Addison Avenue is committed to delivering the most robust and advanced
online banking services available.

“Jwaala is an innovative company that shares our vision of what online banking can be. Not
only do we benefit from the advanced PFM capability inherent in MoneyTracker, but also by
collaborating with Jwaala at the source code level, we have the ability to enhance and extend
the solution to satisfy our unique needs. The ability to access the source code was a key
differentiator for Addison Avenue FCU,” says Stu Fisher, SVP of eCommerce at Addison
Avenue FCU.

Breaking industry traditions, Jwaala allows clients to license its source code, providing
maximum flexibility and long-term viability for the platform. Additionally, through an active client
developer community, MoneyTracker continues to improve through creative input of the user
community.

By partnering with Jwaala, Addison Avenue’s online channel will allow members to visualize
and interact with their finances like never before. Members can search transaction information
across all of their accounts and financial institutions as easily as searching within Google. They
can build custom financial dashboards, set and manage budgets, create their own alerting
systems, receive updates and notifications when and how they want them, and even store
important documents safely and securely within their own virtual safety deposit box.

“Online banking is about more than transaction history and transfers these days. Addison
Avenue gets this,” explains Andrew Taylor, CTO of Jwaala. “It is becoming increasingly
apparent that online banking is the most important branch you can have. Collaborating with
Addison Avenue to enhance their online channel is exciting indeed.”

Jwaala MoneyTracker Featured in Callahan’s Webinar

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

callahan_logo The fine folks at Callahan and Associates hosted a great webinar today about the future of online banking and PFM (personal financial management) in particular.

Well, it turns out the majority of the webinar was about Jwaala MoneyTracker, yay!

This was all presented by the VP of Operations (Karen Pollack) Amplify FCU. Amplify has been live to members with MoneyTracker since March of 2007, and has received great feedback from members, as well as a lot of credit union community accolades.

So thanks Callahans!

  1. for addressing such a great topic
  2. for feature MoneyTracker so prominently

For those of you not familiar with Callahans, they are the goto place for information on news, information, education, and trends for the credit union market. If you need info and insight into credit unions, Callahan’s where you start.

Note: If you missed the webinar, you can always watch the replay (sorry, you have to pay for it).

Hi, I’m Quicken ™

Friday, September 28th, 2007

Another little video take on the state of personal financial management solutions, specifically comparing the desktop solutions like Intuit Quicken ™ and Microsoft Money ™, to the more modern, practical, and yes “hip” solutions like MoneyTracker.

Basically in 2007, it seems quaint to buy software on a CD, or download software, then choose where to install it, then have to upgrade, etc… Everything these days is on the internet, you can access your data anywhere, you don’t have to upgrade (it just happens).

Hope you enjoy!

If you want to offer your members a personal financial management service that is internet based, matches your brand, promotes your (not Intuits) products and services, go ahead and contact us for a demo and more information on MoneyTracker.

Hi, I’m Mint! Ugg.

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

Ok, so it’s not an Apple quality production, and lets be honest, not even a SouthPark quality production, but this 1 minute video does teach you (credit unions and banks alike) what Mint.com can do for you.

It’s quite simple really:

  1. steal you customers eyeballs
  2. wow them with great features
  3. recommend your customers MOVE their deposits accounts to somewhere else, like ING
  4. leave you scratching your head, “ugg, what just happened here”

And you thought you were friends !

If you want things to be different, then just contact us here at Jwaala. Our MoneyTracker product can out mint Mint.com, and do it from your existing site, with your url, your branding, your messages, your security, and yes, your interests.

Here at Jwaala, we don’t shy away from competition, so we encourage you to check out Mint.com (and Wesabe.com) and compare them with MoneyTracker. Then it’s up to you, choose the product you think is best. Oops, I forgot, you can’t actually choose Mint (or Wesabe) as there whole model is to bybass the banks and credit unions and take control of your very own customers.

So go ahead, contact us and setup on a demo to discuss how MoneyTracker can turn the game around.
